As strong proponents of rules- and values based trade, Renew Europe strives for more progressive Free Trade Agreements in which the promotion of gender equality should be strongly anchored. To underline our commitment to this topic we have organised a seminar in which an all-female panel of experts will exchange ideas on how we can utilise the EU's trade policy to advance women's rights and women's participation in the economy. The event will start with a keynote speech from former Trade Commissioner Cecilia Malmström who has laid important groundwork in this area.
