Renew Europe Action Plan for sustainable, competitive and fairly rewarded EU Agriculture

Farmers play an irreplaceable role in our society. Across the European Union (EU) farmers are struggling with increasing input prices, low prices for their products and low income, overall regulatory and administrative burden and unfair competition in the EU food chain and from third countries. As the political group committed to delivering tangible solutions for farmers, Renew Europe pledges decisive action to address these issues. We recognise the urgency of implementing such solutions without further delay. The urgency of alleviating the burdens on our farmers and businesses, while remaining aligned with the overall goals of the Green Deal, is very clear and understood by Renew.

Solutions can be found when all EU Institutions act in a timely and responsive manner and involve farmers in a constructive dialogue.
